A historical and cultural overview of the cities.
A lot of people prefer to wonder around the cities and read about its highlights in guide books, but when they decide to take a tour with a local guide, they realize that it is a completely different experience.
The local tour guide will tell you things that are not in guide books and pass on to you legends, culture and the real life of the area, by showing you the authentic city or village that you are visiting. You will have a ‘personal guide book’ who will concentrate on your individual interests and give you a one on one experience with a true local. This kind of experience is unique and will offer you a knowledge that cannot be passed on through books.
This is a family friendly tour, if you have kids and are wondering if it will be too boring for them, don’t worry we can try and make it more interesting for them too, especially if they love to listen to stories and legends!!

This tour is for those who aren’t so interested in history and architecture in depth, but would like just an overview of the places by seeing the main spots and the best shops, avoiding all the tourist traps, without having to worry about which way to go and how to get there!

Gourmet/Historical Tour of Lucca:

To discover the Real Lucca. A combination of food tasting, going round the best local shops of Lucca, tasting traditional food, from meats, cheeses, artisan chocolate, to Buccellato the traditional Lucchese dessert, in order to discover the traditions and products of the area, together with a historical, artistic and cultural overview of the city. This is also great for children and teenagers who get a bit of a break from the usual cultural tours.

Gourmet Tour

I offer the possibility to discover together the best food and wine shops in Lucca and the traditions and culture of all local gastronomy. I will show you the best places to eat at and the best local products to purchase. From the typical Lucchese cake, the best focaccia and bread shop, the best wine, cheese, chocolate and deli shops, discovering together the gastronomic side of the city!

Wine and olive oil tasting Tour:

A wine tasting in Lucca’s hills is one of the best ways to enjoy the countryside views and the best wines in the area. You will be welcomed by the manager, who will show you the estate and give you information on how they cultivate the vineyards and olive groves, which produce some of the best oil in Tuscany (Lucca is renowned for its olive oil). To then taste some of the best wines and oil. The tour will last around 3 hours (including the drive there and back)
We do recommend and organize a private car service who will pick you up in Lucca, take you to the winery and back, so you can relax and drink as much as you like without having to worry about who will/can drive on the way back!
